Bob

This is Bob, the main character of a game I made with my classmates for school. I personally created this model, animated it and textured it. This is one of my first creations in Blender. I added some screenshots from blender to show the design process.

This is "Bob", the main character of the game "Flooded". This is the final model and a prototype we used for playtesting the game. As one of the first character and models I have ever made, Bob has a special place in my heart <3

I started with a quick model of the character. I started with a cube to which I added arms and legs. Afterwards I added a UV-sphere for a head. After modelling the character I added the hat and the scarf and assigned a material to them.

I assigned the seams to the mesh, and UV unwrapped the model. Then I drew all the textures on the model to make the clothes look good.

After doing all the previous steps, I rigged the model with riggify. I lined up all the bones and tested out the rig in the animator.

After having the model rigged, I animated it. This was quite a difficult task because I had never animated a character before. After some trial and error the final model with animations was done.
